(and keeping my phone has something to do with it)

its quite deep thinking from simply seeing ducks.

my christian adventures

a couple of days ago, they came to my door. Mormons. i ordered the DVD a TV add offered. it was free, an "Easter gift from the church of Jesus Christ and latter day saints". how could i refuse? being the hip youth i am, i gave them my details though the medium of the text message, then the calls started. always the same time, around 10 in the morning. everyday for a week. when i finally answered their calling, they asked "you order a lamb of god DVD?" at first, i thought they meant the band, but it was the Jesus DVD (Jesus being the lamb, god being the Shepard, making him get crucified and shit). they asked me for a suitable time to arrive at my residence, to deliver the DVD in question. on a Tuesday, at around 8:45, two American missionary's came. (i wouldn't have been watching house, that shows gone downhill faster than BlueChip shares), they were, for lack of a better word, perfect. short blond hair, gelled neatly into place. blue eyes. the stereotypical view of the American male i guess. they were tall, but not imposing. they asked me, in their accents, if i was Cameron. i said i was. they asked me about Jesus and my relationship with him. i acted as if i like religion, to get my DVD. after many questions about my godless life, they gave me my DVD, success! they then asked if they could come back at a later date and "check up on me", i assumed this meant seeing if i was christian yet. they'll be disappointed.

i wouldn't go so far as to say i hate religion, but it cuts it pretty fine.
